NanoDefence Antimicrobial coating is a nanotechnology molecular layer of covalently bound biocidal molecules based around silicone polymer chemistry. In simple words it is a blanket of nano-Spikes. Once the coating has dried, it forms an invisible layer of “nano spikes” that penetrate and destroy cell membranes. Due to these “nano spikes”, our product’s process of elimination is mechanical instead of chemical.

Our Customer Satisfaction is our first priority, and we want you to see for yourself to trust our claims. We will provide all customers with a testing kit so that they can check that each surface is actively protected for up to 90 days! In the unlikely event, it is not protected, we will provide a re-coat for free!

NanoDefence antimicrobial coating is water-based and colorless, which is designed carefully to be versatile. The coating can be applied to and bonds with almost any surface – porous or non-porous, metal, leather, fabric, concrete, glass, etc. It currently is successfully used on airports, hospitals, transport systems, corporate buildings, outdoor play areas, vehicles, homes, and anywhere there is a risk of infection.

What is the recommended application method?

Nano Defence provides different application devices. Please contact your local distributor for more information.

Is the product approved for use in the EU?

Yes, we have ensured to be registered in the majority of the European countries and are following the guidelines set out by the BPR (Biocidal Products Regulation).

How long does it takes for the coating to cure?

After a few minutes the coating will be dry to the touch, however, we recommend you allow it 2 hours for the coating to completely bond to the surface it has been applied to.
